The 10 rules to lower golf scores

Rule 7 - Stop short siding yourself!

Many of you may be asking "What's that?"

Well, it's when you hit your approach shot to a green, and you hit the ball on the side that has the smallest amount of green between the edge of the green and flag.

So it might be the pin is cut on the right side of the green and then you miss the green on the right-hand side or the pins short and at the front of the green and you miss the green short. That is short siding yourself. Short siding causes all sorts of problems.

You can learn all about these problems, and how to avoid them by watching this video. In this video, I challenge you to play not shirt side yourself the next time you play. NONE! It may be hard but will also be very rewarding for you.
